Okie This record has for me always been a collection of great songs, not a great record. It doesn't feel like such a cohesive and glued-together album as Really or some others do. Gladly I can say that there still are no bad songs on it (the first bad songs came with #8...), though "I got the same old blues is the only Cale song I've heard done better by another artist, namely Lynyrd Skynyrd on their Gimme Back My Bullets -album (If you know other good cover versions email to me!). Here you start to here that a better racording equipment has been used than for the first 2 J.J. albums. The drums sound crisper and over all feeling is clearer sound-wise. It does lose some of the intimacy of the 2nd album, I think, but gets a head on it's own account. Rating: 9+ / 10 Desert Island Song: Rock'n roll records... or Cajun Moon...
