My name is Steve Chapman, and I've been running the Unofficial JJ Cale home page since December 1995. I go to University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri, and I am double majoring in Computer Science and Computer Engineering.

As for my hobbies, I love to play guitar. Ive been playing since May 1994. I have a red Squier Fender Strat, (you know, fender's cheap model?) and a great 2X12 Peavey Classic 50 amplifier.

I was paralyzed from the chest down in a car crash on Dec. 19th, 1999. I was with a friend and a drunk driver crossed over the median, hitting us head on. The time since has been rough, but I am getting my life back together and realizing how lucky I am to still be alive and to still have the use of my arms and hands.

The picture of me with my sister Jenny is the only picture I've gotten around to putting up since the car crash.
